Kristy’s Sobriety Journey

Kristy was always the life of the party. She enjoyed drinking with her friends, and it never seemed like it was a problem until it was. Kristy’s drinking started to spiral out of control, and she found herself drinking alone and isolating from her friends and family.

Kristy realized that she had a problem, and she didn’t know what to do about it. She knew that she needed help, but she was too embarrassed to ask for it. That’s when she stumbled upon Today’s Sober Women, a supportive community of women who were all on the same journey towards sobriety.

The women in the group welcomed Kristy with open arms and shared their own stories with her. They provided her with the support and encouragement that she needed to take the first step towards sobriety.

Kristy attended meetings regularly and found comfort in the stories of the other women who were also struggling with addiction. She realized that she wasn’t alone and that there were other women who understood what she was going through.

The women in Today’s Sober Women provided Kristy with the tools she needed to stay sober. They taught her how to cope with her triggers and how to take care of herself without turning to alcohol.

Through her journey, Kristy met her husband, who was also in recovery. They connected over their shared experiences and have been each other’s support system ever since.

Today, Kristy is proud of how far she’s come. She’s grateful for the women who welcomed her into Today’s Sober Women and helped her on her journey towards sobriety. She now volunteers with the group and encourages other women who are struggling with addiction to seek help and support.
